To be successful on any eating plan, with any lifestyle— you have to stick with it. That can feel like an uphill battle if you become bored or start to feel like your food choices are limited.
Variety is the spice of life, you know. It’s a cliché, but when it comes to eating, it’s worth mentioning. Boredom can stop you right in your tracks!
We should all know by now that the best way to keep life interesting is to always, always, always keep a variety of low carb foods at your disposal. My family also found that staving off boredom is all in the details. There are plenty of low-carb foods that are surprisingly easy to find and anything but ordinary. Spaghetti squash, jicama, avocado, eggplant, artichokes and pumpkin are just a few. Using a great assortment of low-carb spices and condiments will give you all the creative room in the world to prepare them.
If you think of every meal as an adventure, your journey toward success will be just that—adventurous. If you think of every meal as a work of art, you’ll take even more pride in what you are accomplishing – in the kitchen and in your body. Making an elaborate meal can be quite a rewarding experience.
At least once a week, go all-out with dinner. Be extravagant! While you’re making that masterpiece meal, why not invite your friends over to enjoy it with you? Entertaining can be a great way to show off your new cooking chops, but more importantly, a great way to show your friends just how well you’re eating. If you’ve forgotten that yourself, they’ll surely remind you!
Once your meal is on the table, eat until you’re satisfied. And when you’ve cleared your plate, there are plenty of low-carb desserts waiting for you at: https://www.holdthecarbs.com/low-carb-cakes-cookies-sweets
Still, the sweetest thing of all is success, and I truly hope you find it. I did it and so can you!
