Bagels

- 1/2 tsp instant or rapid rise dry yeast (not active dry)
- 2 tsp LC-Sweet White
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 2/3 cups LC-Pizza & Bagel Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup of warm water
- In a large bowl combine all the dry ingredients together, then add the wet ingredients and mix well
- Knead for a few minutes to develop the gluten and then divide into 6 balls
- Roll each ball between your hands and poke a finger through the middle to create the hole in the middle of the bagel. Widen this with your fingers
- Cover with plastic wrap and put in a warm place (70-90°F) to rise for 1 hour
- Bring a large pot of water to the boil and put each bagel into the water for 20 seconds on each side
- If desired add toppings now (seeds etc.)
- Bake for 12-15 min at 400°F
