In a shallow bowl mix: LC Foods Pasta Flour, salt, coarse black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, baking powder, baking soda
Stir
Lightly dust cube steaks with the pasta flour mixture on both sides
Spread a thin layer of real mayonnaise on each side of the cube steak (use a silicone pastry brush or similar)
Coat both sides with the remaining pasta flour mixture, giving each steak a slight shake to remove excess
Pan fry in about 1/4″ preheated oil on medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown
Set steaks on paper towels
For the Gravy:
Remove oil from pan, reserving about 3 Tbsp for the gravy
Lower heat to medium-low for 2 minutes until the mixture has thickened.
Serve with mashed cauliflower
Notes
Because this gravy doesn’t contain large amounts of milk/cream or flour, it will be a golden color rather than cream colored. More heavy cream can be added to lighten the color if desired.
